Auto major Tata Motors today said it designs to enter new global markets such as Thailand, Myanmar, Indonesia & Bangladesh with the 'Nano' within a year, as well as launch a CNG version of the small automobile in the domestic market. The company also said it designs to invest Rs three,000 crore on capacity expansion & various product development activities next fiscal.
"Nano CNG is clearly on the cards. They plan to launch it very soon. Hopefully, they ought to be rolling it out this year," Tata Motors' Managing Director P M Telang told reporters on the sidelines of the 11th Auto Expo here. The company also said it is working on a different version of the Nano for launch in the European market.
