Two-wheeler industry refuse in sales in October

While four-wheel sales have come to the negative line a few months, sales of two-wheeled vehicles have been positive with the major recording company’s growth. But now it has been reported in The Economic Times that the demand for two-wheeled vehicles has fallen sharply in October, compared with 1.4 million units in September 2011-1.3 million units in October. Automotive industry experts say this trend in demand is an indication of a slowdown in the automotive segment and a pointer to rural demand slowing down.
