New Car Technologies

Volkswagen recently did what most car manufacturers do not: It lifted the veil and left the inside of the German test facility for a practical look at the process of technology development, front row seats at technical seminars , the prototype test units and more. Navigation systems for children cruise control for drowsy driving to cleaner fuel conversions, this is what is on the horizon.

Electronic Sun Visor

Sun visors never on target if you are traveling east in the morning and west in the afternoon. We even recorded pieces of opaque paper in the bottom of the visor in an attempt to block the sun. A project of Volkswagen corporate research is developing an anti-glare electronic system using a matrix system in the crystal controlled electronically by a computer to block the rays.

A sun sensor status and sensor that determines the driver's eye position, both the signal power to the computer, which calculated the entry point of the sunlight on the viewing angle of the driver's eyes. The team then produces a dark "spot" in the glass matrix to block electronic sunshine there (similar to automatic dimming mirrors). The point moves through the windshield as the car changes direction. At this time, the technology does not allow its use throughout the crystal, but it would be a great improvement over the archaic visor, as long as it is implemented.
