My Ford Ikon returns the best mileage figures when driving at 80 mph in 5th gear which translates to approx. 2000 RPM. In 4th gear, 2000 RPM translates to approx. 60 kmph and 3 rd is approx. 42 kilometers per hour. I figure if I like FE drove the car to 80 mph in 5th gear or 60 kmph in 4 th or 42 mph in 3rd or vary across teams / speed combos assuming RPM is maintained at 2000 rpm?
