The timetable for launch of its BMW Mini Market in India coincides with car sales not quite do everything possible exception of a few manufacturers whose diesel vehicles are selling well. BMW plans to introduce the Mini at a price of Rs. 25 000 rupees. The German manufacturer BMW, which start importing the Mini small car in the next two months and plan to open dealerships in Mumbai and Delhi. The German car maker would be bringing in all ranges of Mini variants, popular to include Cooper, Clubdoor, Countryman and Convertible. The high-end Clubman will cost Rs. 30 lakhs and comes with complete accessories and sports package.
In 1960, the Mini was one of the original English cars that harbingered a new dimension in the automotive industry. The car's features were inspired by many car manufacturers during that time with sports retro designs and soft. For example, Maruti Swift has also been designed based on the Mini; however, the masterpiece in the Mini is still the best-seller with a turnover of around 2.34 lakh-cars sold in the world. Despite selling the best in the United States, which also sold very well in countries like Britain, Japan and Germany.
President, BMW India, Andreas Schaaf says Mini has finally come to India after many years of constant research and feasibility. Andrew Schaaf said BMW plans to unveil the Mini at the Auto Expo in New Delhi in January next year.
