The city car and supercar i8 i3 are the first electric cars from the German firm and could be in production in 2013. The electric motor on the rear axle - which generates the output of 125 kW/170 hp and an impressive torque of 250 Nm (184 lb-ft) from a stop - and a turning radius combine to offer the driving characteristics pleasingly agile.
